 Bert Brock is a highly accomplished personal injury attorney with a wealth of experience in both business and negotiation. Prior to specializing in personal injury law, Mr. Brock spent significant time in South Africa and Colombia, where he gained invaluable experience negotiating complex business deals. This unique background has given him a strategic edge in his personal injury practice, allowing him to achieve remarkable results for his clients.

Mr. Brock holds a degree in Economics from Morehouse College and a law degree from Georgia State College of Law. He began his legal career working for a large law firm before transitioning to in-house counsel for a publicly traded company. However, Mr. Brock's true passion lies in advocating for those who have been injured and fighting against big industry on their behalf.

Mr. Brock is dedicated to providing exceptional service to his clients and leaves no stone unturned in seeking justice and fair compensation for them. He has a proven track record of success, and his commitment to excellence is reflected in the outcomes he achieves. Mr. Brock is also an active member of his community and regularly volunteers his time with local charities.

 Michael Powell is a seasoned personal injury attorney who is dedicated to providing zealous advocacy for his clients. He specializes in representing individuals who have been injured as a result of others' negligence.

Mr. Powell holds a Bachelor's degree with high honors from the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta and earned his law degree from the Georgia State University College of Law. He began his legal career working in a variety of areas, including real estate, healthcare, and intellectual property, for a diverse range of clients, including the federal government, a home health agency, and a large boutique IP law firm.

However, after discovering his true passion for helping injured individuals seek justice, Mr. Powell left his previous law firm and joined Bert Brock Law, where he focuses exclusively on representing clients who have been injured in accidents such as car accidents, slip and falls, and workplace accidents.

Mr. Powell is known for his unwavering commitment to his clients and his willingness to go the extra mile to get them the compensation they deserve. He is recognized for his aggressive approach to litigation and his exceptional negotiation skills, which enable him to secure favorable settlements for his clients.

Apart from his legal work, Mr. Powell is an active member of his community and regularly volunteers his time with local charities and non-profit organizations.

With more than a decade of experience in the medical field and over three years working on the legal side of personal injury, Kat brings a unique perspective that allows her to bridge the gap between medical treatment and the legal process. Her extensive background enables her to help clients navigate their recovery while ensuring they receive the medical care and guidance they need throughout the healing process.

Born and raised just south of Atlanta, Kat enjoys traveling, discovering new restaurants, and spending quality time with her family. She is very family-oriented and values creating lasting memories with her loved ones. Her dedication to helping others extends beyond the office, making her a trusted advocate for clients during some of the most challenging times in their lives.

Marisol Olique, one of our compassionate Insurance and Medical Paralegals at Bert Brock Law.

Originally from Connecticut, Marisol moved to Georgia in 2003 and brings more than 25 years of experience in healthcare administration, personal injury, and insurance case management. Her extensive background across both the medical and insurance fields gives her a unique perspective when helping clients navigate their personal injury cases.

Marisol joined Bert Brock Law in January 2025, combining her medical and insurance knowledge with her experience in the legal field. As a bilingual (English/Spanish) paralegal, she works closely with clients, insurance companies, medical providers, and attorneys to help move cases efficiently from treatment through settlement. Her expertise and commitment to exceptional client service make her an invaluable part of our team.

Outside of the office, Marisol is a proud mother of five and grandmother of eight. She enjoys traveling, spending time with her family, making memories with her loved ones, and spoiling her Shih Tzu, Milo, who is truly part of the family.

Jenny Tran is one of our dedicated Litigation Paralegals at Bert Brock Law.

A proud Georgia State University graduate, Jenny holds a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and brings more than a decade of experience as a paralegal. Her extensive knowledge of the legal field, attention to detail, and commitment to supporting both our attorneys and clients make her a valued member of our team.

Outside of the office, Jenny enjoys spending time with dogs, gardening, and baking.

Brent E. Sherota is an experienced Georgia attorney who has dedicated his career to representing individuals in personal injury and criminal defense matters. A member of the State Bar of Georgia since 2008, Mr. Sherota has spent more than 17 years advocating for his clients and helping them navigate some of the most difficult circumstances of their lives. Born in Miami and rooted in Atlanta since 1995, he brings both extensive legal experience and a deep understanding of the Georgia communities he serves.

Mr. Sherota earned his undergraduate degree in Finance from the University of Georgia before receiving his law degree from John Marshall Law School. His background in finance provides him with a valuable perspective in personal injury cases, particularly when evaluating damages, analyzing financial losses, and negotiating with insurance companies. Combined with his years of courtroom experience, this analytical approach allows him to develop thoughtful strategies tailored to the circumstances of each case.

Aris is known for his attention to detail, strong communication skills, and ability to take projects from concept to completion, all while keeping quality and deadlines top of mind. His creativity, teamwork, and great sense of humor make him a valued part of our team!

Outside of work, Aris enjoys spending time caring for his plants, going on bike rides, and sharing his love of music through DJ-ing.
